Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) vs. Comodo Antivirus

It seems to be one of the best AV products that I have used. One issue that I have is with billing/invoicing and how the licenses are issued.

Comodo [Antivirus] is able to use advanced technology against any kind of virus and malware which is very effective and authentic. It scans smoothly and is able to detect any kind of major or minor malware which is awesome. We highly recommend this tool for malware protection for almost all companies irrespective of their size and number of departments as it is ideal for all.

• It keeps on checking our important files.
• It is effective against malware.
• It keeps a record of the viruses that tried to invade and prevents them from further future invasion.
• Its working speed is amazing.

• Stability, they could grow when it comes to updates to the client. There always seems to be complications.
• Locking of systems. In the event of trouble, systems lock down so far that the administrator has to drive to the location where device is located, uninstall and reinstall.

I have interacted with them several times, and I'm not giving them a 10 because they never blew my mind how good they were, but they certainly met my high expectations and helped us resolve all issues we had. We paid for support to help us set it up, and I think that was a good choice. There's a very steep learning curve at first with the initial configuration. We feel confident in being able to change everything now that we have been using it, but initially it was all a very new thing to us since we never had used a centrally managed Antivirus and Firewall program before.

I was using a platform called Barkly which seemed to work well at the time. I ran a ransomware simulation against Barkly and it did not perform as well as anticipated. I began searching for another AV platform, found Comodo and decided to run the same ransomware test. Comodo [Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP)] performed much better and was more effective at stopping the simulated ransomware.

AVG antivirus was a bit expensive tool offering the same features as that in Comodo but unfortunately, the working speed of AVG Business edition was not as fast as of Comodo and the way Comodo is efficient against Malware is unmatchable and it automatically removes the threats so we don't have to put any effort into this.

• An efficient way for the removal of malware completely with protection.
• We are satisfied with the data protection it offers.
• The ability to detect malware and remove it, is amazing.
• It has proven itself as the best of all protection tools.
