Compuware Strobe (discontinued) vs. IBM Instana

Compuware Strobe is very essential if you are working in a multi-system environment to constantly measure the activity of your applications. My setup involves deploying bots to perform repetitive tasks. With Compuware Strobe, I'm able to conduct early tests on codes that reduce by great margins performance issues on the development cycle; It's why I'm making a good recommendation for it.

Instana is useful and provides a lot of benefit with the data that it displays, however there are some stability issues that need to be addressed before I could give it a higher rating. Also the interface has a steep learning curve. It would be nice if more complex alerting were possible.

Instana has been able to fulfill our all requirement and provide out of box solution for multiple component like AWS RDS Monitoring and real time alerting setup on basis of that. it is also easy to integrate with other open-source alerting and monitoring tools which makes it easier to incorporate into our solutions
