Deltek WorkBook vs. MCA Suite

My recommendation very much depends on who the colleague is. I would recommend WorkBook if it is an accountant, project manager or someone similar, and if the setup is done within WorkBook and passwords, etc. are being used within WorkBook only. I would tell IT Managers to avoid the application and think twice in terms of access management etc.

It is a good tool for smaller companies entering the MCA space, but doesn't scale all that well, and provides limited options for reporting customization.

• The communication module, so all relevant information is available on the projects

• They have lots of detail on the deal pages.
• It allows for multiple internal and external users.
• It has global search functionality.

• The integrations on IT level are not great and should be improved.
• Change of IP's that's used for logins are being changed without reporting it to super users.

• Poor reporting.
• Filtering is clunky.
• They could improve on data visualization.
• Renewal advances that are not refinances are difficult to manage.

• WorkBook is one of the cheaper solutions on the market, which, in the long term, gives a great ROI.
• We have spent a lot of time on support which is a negative impact.

• We've been able to grow our working capital program over the years with the help of MCA Suite.
• Data management is difficult, and we struggle with reporting.
• We have granted merchants dedicated to their advances for tracking purposes.
