Fleet Complete in Toronto offers a suite of fleet management and telematics applications, covering GPS tracking, dispatching decisions, asset tracking for heavy duty equipment, Electronic Logging Device (ELD), a mobile inspection app, and a Task Tracker application for managing workforce resources in the field.
Descartes Logistics Technology Platform has a control tower view which we have used a lot. It permits us to check on [the] real-time status of every truck, also has the features and option to communicate with the trucks' ELD, which gives us the most liable information about his current location and status.

Fleet Complete is a great software with a great build. I would just like to see them update some of the features. The desktop version is a big item that really could use an update. They also need to set up an alert system that will notify you when a tracker stops working. Other than that, it is an easy to use system. The trackers are easy to install and there are numerous reports that you are able to pull on demand. Great for IFTA tracking!

Intelligence, it gets stuck in some areas of the country
Integration with [other] apps, we would appreciate a collaboration with [other] tracking apps that can share the same information if they are being installed [on] the same device
A better and clean dashboard, its face needs a renewal, a fresh look, adapted to the current trends

Sometimes it can take days to get through to support. It is also an inconvenience when you have to get a device replaced. First you have to call them to troubleshoot the device. Then they have to create the order, which then takes about another month to get to you. This leaves you with over a month without a working device. They do not credit you for this downtime either.

It is a powered tool that can be used by any of the current logistics (and why not?, non-logistics companies), that need a reliable, accurate, and well-based amount of information of the fleet, with ease. Using the [latest] technologies, integrating a wide view of transportation, inventory, [and] custom status on a single but not simple platform.

Fleet Complete works ten times better than Teletrac did. We utilized Teletrac for 3 years, and for a good two of those years, half of our devices would not work. It was a nightmare to try to get them replaced also.
