Less appropriate for people who don't use LLMs to code but instead to create artifacts. Cursor is a fluid development platform, not something that will create an artifact to run in the cloud. Well designed to work on teams, to manage the code and how the LLMs interact with the code itself. Great for deep vibe coding.

If you already have technical knowledge and understanding of coding, Windsurf could be a valuable platform to debug and rewrite code. It was helpful to me to expand coding, since I am not a traditionally programmer. I was able to enhance my base code and functionality much quicker than manually trying.

Cursor is the best AI-powered IDE available today. The agents intelligently absorb context from the code, memory, and rules, and are capable of iterating with subagents until acceptance criteria is met.

Cursor is useful for all our developer team. Each and every team member use Cursor for coding and also Cursor has various models like composer, codex, claude and openai models which helps a lot for quality codings. Also Cursor help to create documents in md file format with markdown and preview which helps a lot.

Windsurf is a good tool for developers with more than basic coding skills. I would recommend it as a tool to quickly mitigate coding errors and issues. I did not take a deeper dive into the integrated extensions, but the library of extensions appear to be solid. An experience developer could quickly launch this platform, scan and test coding, and resolve issues quickly. I did not test this for larger code sets.

graphical user interface is really the thing that setting apart because other code harnesses are really focused on commandline interfaces but whenever you want a good graphical interface with all of the tools and workflow that us software developers we want I think that Cursor is the one that has done it the best out of all of the code harnesses that we’ve tried

Windsurf would be more comparable to GitHub Copilot or Perplexity to me. I think it's more of a pure code debugging line by line than some of the other tools listed above, however, they all have some capabilities to rewrite and test new coding. It boils down to what toolset you are most comfortable with. I typically will work with two platforms with the same issue to see how it is approached and the differences.
