doxy.me vs. Practo

The audio functionality on [doxy.me] is chronically very poor and it lacks screen sharing, so I would never recommend it as a primary telehealth platform, but I highly recommend the free BAA version as an affordable backup telehealth platform should one's primary platform fail.

Easy to use for staff, we can search records for patient who visited 10 yrs ago. Tabs for patient self registration is good. Less appropriate - High price, additional storage charges, limited features

• Software is easy to use on both Laptop/ ipad and mobile app
• They provide tabs where patient can do self registration, saves our time in data entry
• getting new appointment, Practo is well known site, patients visit there are book appts

• Speaker and microphone defaults and settings easily go wrong and result in one person not hearing the other person, and adjusting the audio in/out settings is not intuitive, nor does even making every possible adjustment always result in bringing back sound.
• Sometimes all parties can hear each other, but one party's voice is chronically session after session so warped and warbled we have to mute the Doxy audio and call each other on the phone for session audio.
• If a user is accessing [doxy.me] on a phone, briefly switching to another app then switching back to the Doxy screen completely messes up the audio.
• [doxy.me] lacks a screen sharing option which is regrettable, because screen sharing is an integral part of my therapy practice to work on worksheets together with clients in-session.

Its userfriendly, digitalised the practice, they have NABIDH integration as well for one of clients in Dubai. their customer support is good

My group practice uses Zoom through its electronic health record, which is absolutely higher quality than [doxy.me], due to reliable audio functionality and screen sharing capability. However, [doxy.me] free BAA version is a great benefit to have as an affordable backup. Always best practice to have a backup in the event of technology failure.

Its a must have for all clinics, hospitals. to main appts and records. Well know brand than others, secure data.

• Now we dont keep paper based records, everthing is online now
• Our patient no shows have reduced with appt reminders
