ecomdash vs. Sku Grid

It would be well suited for a business that is just starting out with inventory management and sells on multiple channels. They are a growing company that is constantly changing and making improvements. I don't think there is another competitor out there that can offer the same features at their price point. It may not be well suit for large organizations.

Sku Grid does job very well at what it is supposed to do -- monitoring suppliers and syncing changes over to marketplaces. They have some features that are not as useful, like Buy Box Owner, but maybe in the future we will start using it.

• Multi-channel inventory sync: automatic depletion and restoration of inventory with sales and refunds, syncing back to all your channels.
• Sales order and purchase order management: keep track of things you buy and sell while simultaneously keeping your inventory accurate.
• Custom upload and export formats: you can make ecomdash work with almost any platform by creating your own formats to upload or export your data.

• Monitoring price & stock change at a wide variety of suppliers, from Amazon to small stores.
• Updating price & stock data at eBay just when the price was updated over at the supplier.
• Letting us do a lot of customizations and configure repricing rules the way we want them to be.

• User interface. The whole thing feels clunky.
• Knowledge-base. Their searchable knowledge base isn't really all that helpful. It feels like it was written as an afterthought.

• Custom support is the main issue -- they need more people.

eComdash always answers our questions, and they have a call-back system to speak on the phone which is very convenient. The people there actually understand the complexities of the software and understand our problems when we explain them. Things get solved quickly and we feel like they care about the speed of the resolution.

I have not had first hand experience with inventory management software like ecomdash.

We have tried DSM Tool, AutoDS, Salefreaks -- they all seem very simple, but their functionality is simple as well, perhaps not enough for advanced users. Sku Grid has a sharp learning curve, but it is far more advanced and more reliable.

• Allowed us to keep inventory in sync across multiple platforms preventing overselling.
• Allowed us to sync inventory from multiple warehouses.

• While using it, we have increased the number of sales that we have over at eBay.
