Envision is well suited in a school system that not only thrives on but requires multiple ways for students to learn mathematical concepts aligned to the state's standards for learning. Envision is not well suited for schools which are private/charter and do not wish to follow those guidelines but rather a different approach.
This tool is perfect for any pilot, whether he or she is an ATP or a student. This is an all-in-one tool for preflight operations through post-flight operations. The subscriptions might be pricey for some people, but the resources it provides, as well as its functions and capabilities, make the paid service very valuable.
When viewing ENVISION online, in my experience, it is difficult to find materials through the online teacher and student text books, so this can be improved.
At times, the manuals are incorrect in their answers, which can be fixed, allowing for streamlining in our teaching as well as the assurance of student's learning more easily.
ENVISION does not provide reports based on data that is acquired through online assessments, this can help teachers to better modify their teaching as well as their implementation of small group time in Mathematic practices.
It would be helpful to be able to import Cloud Ahoy data onto ForeFlight to see specific instrument data during specific phases of flight.
When typing waypoints into the Flight Plan section, it would be helpful if pressing backspace simply erases the last character, rather than every character in the waypoint typed thus far.
It would be helpful to be able to place flight breadcrumbs on the map, even after the breadcrumbs time has expired, for review in the future.
It would be helpful to include a sum total of ground instruction time in the Experience Report section of the logbook.
First, it is very easy to learn how to use ForeFlight through active use of the products. Additionally, its website has helpful videos and guides that provide tutorials on how to use its resources. ForeFlight also produces helpful legends that helps pilots to interpret symbology correctly. Finally, it is very easy to share documents, endorsements, etc., among ForeFlight users.
ENVISION is an all encompassing curriculum for teachers to use within the classroom whereas Prodigy is meant to support the curriculum students are using within the classroom. I selected ENVISION because I have already written a review on Prodigy..
The operational costs of ForeFlight are likely to be minimal, especially when compared to the efficiency gains (e.g., flight preparation, etc.) and potential boosts to safety (e.g., weight and balance calculations, information that can be used for aeronautical decision-making scenarios, etc.).
