The integration is airy and the performance is amazing. Initially, we used our photo file uploader and it worked, but as our needs grew the developmental effort to support new needs took a lifetime. As a development manager, this was a big red flag because uploading files had become a hindrance and time-consuming away from other purposes.

Wasabi is just simple and easy to use. It incorprates well with Veeam and other backup solutions. The cost savings alone is enough to make anyone switch. Plus thier reliability has been on great. We havent experienced any down time or issues since converting out cloud backup solution to Wasabi.

Alternatives Considered
Filestack
Ease of integration [was] that we had developers who were familiar with implementing Filestack. It also decreased the dependency and load of our Developers since the implementation instructions are fairly straightforward. Filestack is excellent at what it does (asset management) and Cloudinary/Akamai is primarily used to serve content and decrease latency as CDNs.

Wasabi, Technologies, Inc
Wasabi is a tiny bit more expensive than Backblaze B2 ($5.99 vs $5 per TB per month), and there are minimum storage size/time requirements (1TB, 3Mo), but Wasabi has free traffic each month up to the size of storage which can save you a lot of money.

  • The cost savings from previous Cloud backup solution is over 70%
  • Ease of backups - Incorporation with Veeam already in place
  • Our biggest bottleneck for throughput is our on-prem storage offloading to Wasabi. COuldnt be happier with thier network bandwith.
