Overall Satisfaction with Filestack

Filestack is used as our asset (image and video) upload tool that is built into our WYSIWYG editor within our CMS editor. It allows our team, as well as subscribers to our product, to manage their digital assets within our platform. It provides us with a seamless mechanism to upload images and videos to our websites.
  • Digital Asset Management
  • Seamless Integration into WYSIWYG Editor
  • Asset Size Restrictions
  • Insights and Usage Dashboards
  • Developer Dependencies
  • Pricing Structure
  • Decreased Development Load/Enabled Developer Bandwidth
  • Ease of Integration into CMS
  • Cost/Time Efficiency Boost
Ease of integration [was] that we had developers who were familiar with implementing Filestack. It also decreased the dependency and load of our Developers since the implementation instructions are fairly straightforward. Filestack is excellent at what it does (asset management) and Cloudinary/Akamai is primarily used to serve content and decrease latency as CDNs.

Yes

Perfect solution for digital asset management. It does require a bit of development to get the product optimized and ready for deployment, however, it is suitable for nearly every scenario where a user employs a CMS to manage images/videos. Absolutely a better option than building and maintaining your own asset repository.
