FlexiHub vs. Impero Remote Manager (discontinued)

We’ve put FlexiHub through its paces to see if it’s any good for remote vehicle health checks. We tried the app out with a handful of USB devices for car diagnostics and so far, everything is going smoothly. We also worked to develop an iOS app for remote diagnostics. Our testers from another office easily connected over the Internet thanks to FlexiHub. FlexiHub works perfectly in UDP connections, and needs an Internet connection. But there is no opportunity to work over LAN. This can be an issue.

Where we use the Impero Remote Manager is in a school setting and it works really well for us. We have our teachers use it every day to make sure their students are always on track. It works really well for students that we know are likely to get off track. We can see their screen and know exactly when they get off track and can get them back on track quickly.

• Stable connections, but some devices are not recognized correctly
• Pricing is too high

• It crashes frequently, so that could be fixed.
• The ability to take over a student's screen could be a little easier as well.

The support for Impero Remote Manager is actually really good and I have been pleased every time I have had to work with them. Any time I've had an issue with the software, I've been able to call support and have the issue resolved very quickly and things start working again.

I made the switch to FlexiHub because I found it to be more reliable and user-friendly for my specific needs. FlexiHub offers a more seamless experience when it comes to remotely accessing and managing USB devices, with fewer connectivity issues compared to the other products I was using. also TeamViewer's pricing structure didn't align well with my needs. FlexiHub's subscription plans offered a better fit for my usage.

In overall features and what LanSchool can do, we actually like that product better than Impero. The reason why we went with Impero was because of the price. It has similar features but ultimately was a lot cheaper, so we chose Impero. We are a small charter school, so our budget is a lot smaller than in other school districts.

• We have increased our productivity due to the ability of remote access
• Developed and tested the app with remote USB access
• We can work with our freelance and remote testers; all we need is an Internet connection

• It keeps students on task.
• It allows our teachers to better manage how their students are using Chromebooks.
