FreshMail vs. PostUp

The platform works very well for sending emails with simple layouts, it also allows you to keep track of the opening data of those who receive the emails. The platform could improve its ability to modify databases and integrate with other platforms in order to automate some of the marketing actions.

For what we are using the service for, it accomplishes everything that we need. We use it across a couple departments and it is very easy to keep track of everything scheduled so there is no confusion. We started using it at the beginning of the year and it's become very simple to navigate, which is great. That makes it much easier for me to train people how to use it.

• It is set up in a way that is very easy to learn how to use.
• The features cover everything I can even imagine for what I am using it for.
• Their help desk is very responsive.

• My campaign got delayed because of their moderation process. When I wrote them to ask what was going on they said they have some kind of anti-spam moderation process that was taking longer than usual.
• I don’t like the fact that you can’t edit your template in HTML in their editing program (FreshMail Designer). This is probably isn’t a big deal for most people but some of us like to take over every detail of the template.

• There was a recent update they did that was sort of hard to get adjusted to, things weren't in the same spot as normal and it was sort of difficult learning where things were located now.
• It only shows you 7 mailings at a time by default, it would be nice to be able to change the default setting to whatever is preferred.
• In the "server" I wish there was a way to filter by department, not just by users.

FreshMail stands out for its ease of email design. Being a specialised email tool, it is more versatile when it comes to obtaining data from users, it is more intuitive, as the amount of time that needs to be invested in learning how to design emails, landing pages, a/b testing and others, is much less than the competition

• It makes scheduling emails very easy.
• It was very easy to learn how to use/get adjusted to.
• We are able to keep track of scheduled mailings across all departments which is very convenient.
