HeyGen vs. Livestorm

I evaluated many different AI avatar options and HeyGen stood head and shoulders above the rest. They have done a really good job of their realism and voice cloning. I've also started to experiment with their interactive avatars and they are a really powerful feature for assisting customers in their inquiries.

Livestorm is well suited to use when you need to reach a group of more than ten people. It wouldn't be a good solution if you wanted interaction from the audience in more than the form of chat.

• Very intuitive to use and easy to customize.
• Excellent customer service.
• Lots of good data for analytics.
• Participants do not need to download anything.
• Feedback and recommendations are acted on.
• Easy to logistical information on registrants and attendees.
• Supports integrations.

• The avatars are almost there, but there is still some unnatural movement that gives it away.
• The built in editor is not very useful to me.
• It would be nice to have a voice-only clone feature

HeyGen's platform is very user friendly and even people with less to no video production experience are able to operate HeyGen's platform. This has opened up many possibilities from speed of production to rough cut table reads using avatars before ever setting foot in a studio. The less time in the studio, the faster we can create videos.

Making sure the permission settings for your camera, microphone or browser can sometimes be tricky. If we have a guest, we always have to double-check these. It's also not super intuitive that you need to "Get on Stage" from the webinar page.

The customer service representatives are extremely attentive. They do an excellent job of trying to understand the scope of the issue and follow it through until it has been resolved. When I have provided them with recommendations for improvement they have taken them to heart and many times implemented them. I trust that if I ever have a problem they will be there to help

HeyGen's avatar and voice technology were superior to any other AI avatar platforms I tested. They had more control and realism compared to the competitors.

• HeyGen has allowed us to complete videos in 1 week vs. 3 weeks with traditional video production processes
• HeyGen is easy enough to use, even our writers can generate avatars
• We have even experimented with Avatar-only videos which may eliminate studio time all together.

• It's been great! It's the very bottom of the funnel for us so it helps accelerate leads and create opportunities.
