IDERA SQL Compliance Manager vs. Informatica Cloud Data Integration

The payment card industry is best as it has built-in PCI DSS compliant and in a transactional DB where there are a lot of DML activities the size of the database must be increased.

We use it a lot for importing data. We transform the incoming data to match the formatting of our CRM. We also match on existing records to avoid creating duplicates. Informatica handles all of this exceptionally well. Our users are system administrators. The tool is not well-suited for users who do not have a technical background

• Should have a compression algorithm to compress the audited logs, as it will take a lot of space.
• Can not audit all the DML and DDL activities as it will take a lot of space, should have a compression algo.

There is a learning curve with Informatica. It is not always intuitive to use. It is best suited for technical users such as system administrators

More easy to use, no SQL queries to extract data out of it, graphical user interface is very good and easy to use.

It is really easy to comply and understand its features.

• Audit reports are a hectic job for a DBA it made them easy.
