IDU vs. Linnworks

Income Statements per cost centre (actual vs budget) that has been mapped to meet my business requirements. The ability to drill-down to the GL level in each cost centre when reviewing Income Statements. The ability to group Income Statements per region for ease of reporting. The Budget module that offers flexibility and automatic calculations based on inputs make budgeting easier.

Would have recommended it 5 years ago, but now absolutely not a chance. Pricing is obscene and the service is appalling. Save yourself time and money by looking elsewhere. Linnworks has one advantage over other providers and that is their integrations with smaller eCommerce channels, this is not worth the money... You could employ someone for 5 minutes per day to pull smaller marketplaces onto a different service via CSV.

IDU has the best features for budgeting, and it has eased our processes.

IDU compliments our finance processes - budgeting is a key process in our business and its worked well for us for many years

IDU is always available and takes less time to come up after power outages.

It takes less time to generate reports.

Support is always provided on time and with resolutions.

Well done

Online training and webinar always available.

We have not used or evaluated any alternative products. We have been using IDU for over 10 years and have not been in the market for alternatives.

As I have used Linnworks from day one, I constantly get contacted by Linnworks competitors asking me to try their system, however I cannot see any reason to move from a software package that we are all comfortable with, to a different system. It would seem pointless to move to a system that does not have the full functionality of Linnworks.
