The Handshake B2B Commerce platform from Shopify (acquired May 2019), was an ecommerce tool designed to make buying and selling simple, intuitive and mobile. The product has been discontinued, and is no longer sold or supported.
They are very strong in European enterprise hosting solutions. Less so with US-based organisations, as they have no footprint in North America. They are a popular solution for organisations wanting to host their digital assets in Ireland as they are much easier to deal with than their main competitors. They do not seem to suffer from cultural identity in the same way that some US-based competitors do.
My boss implemented Shopify with his Developer two years ago and handed off the support role to me. I manage user access, training, support, and product setup with our website. We are growing our use of this system by adding a variety of products and payment types for credit card processing.
Interxion's staff in Ireland are top class, customer-centric, friendly and knowledgeable.
Interxion pays a lot of attention to keeping their customers happy by engaging socially with them at their own marketing events and other industry events. INEX and Interxion shared a Christmas Party last year as many of our members and their customers overlap.

It's easy to change prices and make status active or inactive. clean and basic layout, Good for new users.
I am not aware of any shortcomings. I am sure that I would be aware if INEX operations staff were experiencing any problems. Similarly, I have only heard good things about them from our members, though there will always be some that think that they should be paying less for hosting services.
We started using Shopify and we are growing its usefulness in our business. I am in the process of helping our reps we gave access and provided training to create all the products they need. We still have most of the new products to be setup.
Shopify has been successfully implemented in a short period of time, and support has been easy to provide. THe system is very easy to adapt to our needs and I am able to train users quickly.
Everything is working fine with each phase we implemented. More of our staff is aware of the system and are enjoying how user-friendly the system is for them.

Difficult to say. Our presence in 3 Interxion data centres is mainly driven by our members wanting to host their digital assets in those locations. However, as a not-for-profit association, INEX is pleased that they treat us very favorably with regard to charges, in recognition of the fact that having our presence in their facilities draws new customers for them.
