JarviX vs. KNIME Analytics Platform

JarviX is very good at data integration, creating charts and reports for data visualization. It is really impressive that Jarvix can let our marketing team know the number of members living in a specific area in seconds. In addition, the product manager from Synergies is willing to help us with all problems we encounter. I accidentally changed one of the settings in a data table which threw the existing dashboard into chaos. However, after assistance from the product manager, we were able to successfully bring the data back to normal.

[KNIME Analytics] is greatly suited for repetitive tasks one has to perform in excel as it automates these mundane tasks. [KNIME Analytics] is also well suited for creating a seamless connection with other BI tools to enable hands-free file sharing. [KNIME Analytics] has improvements to make on the overall User interface, its data visualization package and advanced level of AI-related tasks such as text mining,

• There should be more flexibility in changing the data tables uploaded into JarviX. For example, it should enable users to edit the syntax of the table or change the data format of the columns without affecting the existing dashboard and charts already created using that data table.

• It does not have proper visualization.
• Some other BI tools (QlikView) have much easier functions for data interaction.
• Some other BI tools (Tableau) can be set up much faster.
• It is not an easy tool to use for non-tech savvy staff.

Since it is relatively new, there has not developed a vast previously asked/frequently asked questions library that comes up when you google an issue you come across with. This will happen only in time, and as the community grows. Because of the same reason, the community is not big. Consequently, it is possible not to receive good, fast responses to asked questions in community hubs and forums.

Tableau and Power BI. Obviously, they are not in the same category. Tableau and Power BI only provide data visualizations plus a little bit of analytics. JarviX not only provides data exploration, so you can find out what the problem is, as well as model management and App builder. If you only look for a dashboard, yes BI is probably enough, but if you constantly feel lacking actionable insights for actual implementations of improvements, JarviX is the choice for you.

• Alteryx : allows for generally "data" knowledgeable workers to easily implement and develop a data model in an automated fashion. The collaboration tools built in also make is easy for members to share work, best practices, and custom modules
• Alteryx is not cloud based solution where as KNIME Analytics has that

• I think the best part of JarviX is that we can get the analysis results in several minutes. We spent lots of time making reports and managing our data in the past. All in all, it helps us save the time, cost, and labor of managing data.

• It is suited for data mining or machine learning work but If we're looking for advanced stat methods such as mixed effects linear/logistics models, that needs to be run through an R node.
• Thinking of our peers with an advanced visualization techniques requirement, it is a lagging product.
