JarviX vs. Visual KPI

JarviX is very good at data integration, creating charts and reports for data visualization. It is really impressive that Jarvix can let our marketing team know the number of members living in a specific area in seconds. In addition, the product manager from Synergies is willing to help us with all problems we encounter. I accidentally changed one of the settings in a data table which threw the existing dashboard into chaos. However, after assistance from the product manager, we were able to successfully bring the data back to normal.

[Visual KPI is well suited for:] 1. Maintenance or field worker in oil & gas/chemical/ process industry mostly; machines status on the map & functionality for tracing exact location of the machines. 2. Key personnel of the site is always in move within the site/plant; useful for monitoring key performance indicators of the plant 3. KPIs to be built based on multiple data sources as well as integration with ERP tool

• Time-saving
• Real-time data update
• Database docking

• The latest user interface makes it easier to use.
• The search function helps find projects quickly.
• It covers a lot of areas of your business so there is intrinsic value to how robust it is.

• There should be more flexibility in changing the data tables uploaded into JarviX. For example, it should enable users to edit the syntax of the table or change the data format of the columns without affecting the existing dashboard and charts already created using that data table.

• Intelligent prediction & AI
• Deep integration is limited to OSISoft's PI AF; bit time consuming for large integration for other historians > mapping hierarchy
• Template to create Apps like OEE, Cycle time etc for rapid deployment

At large it was successful implementation. - [Users] are empowered to find out performance measures easily - issues like machine downtime, trend analysis, location specific downtime information, roll out functionalities, up time of the machines or area, alert based on run hour of the machines/ pumps, manual data entry to capture reason code for any downtime

Tableau and Power BI. Obviously, they are not in the same category. Tableau and Power BI only provide data visualizations plus a little bit of analytics. JarviX not only provides data exploration, so you can find out what the problem is, as well as model management and App builder. If you only look for a dashboard, yes BI is probably enough, but if you constantly feel lacking actionable insights for actual implementations of improvements, JarviX is the choice for you.

Most of these products serve as the master source for managing data, but they all seem to have their own focus for what kind of data and metrics they monitor, visualize and analyze. I think Visual KPI holds its own against the competition because it serves so many purposes for so many departments at your organization.

• I think the best part of JarviX is that we can get the analysis results in several minutes. We spent lots of time making reports and managing our data in the past. All in all, it helps us save the time, cost, and labor of managing data.

• Duration to realize the benefit is less
• OpEx requirement is steady since system is very robust
• Minimum to no training required for users; VisualKPI is very intuitive
