Kiteworks vs. Wing FTP Server

Kiteworks is very good for securely sharing files external to your company and doing so without your customers knowing who each other are. The interface is simple and relatively intuitive. We have had some issues in getting timely support from Accellion this past year, but they seem to be doing better lately.

If FTP is your primary setup, you're fine. SFTP would cost 4 times as much. However, it's a small price to pay for stability and security. Plus, it comes with 1 year of support.

• Encrypting our files appears to be less than 100% complete
• Software updates cannot be scheduled to take place automatically like their old product
• Detailed activity logging is not available to administrators. You must submit the logs to Accellion for analysis.

• Could have provided more clear tutorials to install and setup.
• Maybe a setup video linked to customer page.
• Offer SFTP and FTPS as standard instead o Enterprise version as SFTP is becoming the new standard.

The main reason for selecting Kiteworks is that when sharing files with multiple customers, each customer has no idea who the other customers are. To do that in Teams would require users to create a private team for each customer, which would be very [time-consuming].

I find that Wing FTP Server stacks up fairly against competitors, and offers efficiency and speed not found in all media sharing programs. I love that I am able to effectively share media quickly. Our company has tried all different media sharing programs and this one is of our top choices.

• Before then kitework we used 3 different products. It was expensive and difficult manage.

• Overall good impact on our business objectives.
• This helps share media in a very quick manner.
• Great for large file sharing.
