LeanDNA vs. Netstock

LeanDNA is a simple to use system, easy to implement, and has a very customizable analytics engine. As I continue to learn more about the dashboard I learn more of capabilities such as creating tasks and or lean projects. This is a one stop shop for all project management that is a capability you can use without even connecting your ERP to the system.

Netstock is brilliant for organizing your data in a readable, visual layout that's easy to understand and use to base decision-making on. For individual items, it's excellent, and there is loads of functionality to manage safety stock and lead times. Where I've seen it struggle a bit is with families of items that share an MOQ; it calculates demand at the individual SKU level and isn't as good at managing it at the family level.

• Global visibility , added value for stock assisstance
• Areas that need attention are displayed on the dashboard with option to drill down if required
• With more than 5000 different SKU it is difficult to keep track of all activities related to each SKU, the process is simplified with the help of this tool, everyone has access to the right information.

• Updates disappearing from time to time.
• Make it easier to copy and paste to multiple sections.
• Simple google search type box.

• The Family MOQ is not taken into account with the look-forward days within the container builder, so this add-on does not work very well.
• It's not possible to build your own CSV export of reports that you regularly run. The report builder doesn't let you save a set of filters or parameters; it's too basic.

This is one of their strength, Netstock is very easy to use and although it is rigid in its functionalities, that is what is good about it, we could not customise it the way you used to work, it forced us to adapt our processes and the way we work

We had tremendous support from all of our account managers. The company was so keen on their customer feedback that the CEO, head of operations used to join our calls to get our feedback

The implementation process went very smooth. The upfront work from LeanDNA providing mapping data needed for our specific ERP system made the initial implementation seamless. After the data was collected the data validation process was very smooth. LeanDNA has a process that they follow in order utilize the time of the users efficiently. They provided step by step instructions on validation.

We have looked to test and pilot other tools and platforms but have not implemented as we down selected to use LeanDNA as the preferred tool.

Netstock was much easier to use and that was important for our team as this was a significant digital change in our processes. We had a list of features we wanted and Netstock had more than 90% of them which contributed to the decision to go with this plug and play solution rather than a fully bespoke platform. We also liked that Netstock already had an API with Cin7

• We have vastly reduced the amount of safety stock that we used to hold
• Our stock holding value is within a manageable figure for the size of our business
• We can monitor our poor performing suppliers so we are confident when placing purchase orders
