Plot from Modio is online tool used to create storyboards for video. Users can write a script, add visuals and collaborate with a team on the platform.
Lightworks is a great tool for a non-designer to use because it provides a number of tools and capabilities that can be quickly learned. For someone who is an advanced video editor, it may not provide every tool they will need. Given how much can be accomplished through the free version, I think it's a great tool for making simple videos for social media, YouTube and other basic applications.

The software is user-friendly in my opinion. The first project I supported was complicated and none of us had the technical experience to make a video. How we communicated about the project was also challenging since we did not live in the same place and could not meet easily. All that changed with the discovery of The Plot. The software makes it easy to share ideas, get input and keep track of the production.

Adobe is a great tool that is very competitive and I still use it depending on what PC I have on hand and how fast the job needs to get done but I selected Lightwork because I think that it is less complicated to browse and was able to learn the shortcuts fast, making my time more productive.

Plotagon is easy to use but the characters and animation need enhancement. Plot Generator produces great ideas and scripts but they are not unique to individual projects. With The Plot Storyboard, you have control to create an organic project with better-animated characters
