Memonic vs. Navisite Managed Infrastructure Services (NaviCloud)

The Memonic tool is a very powerful application that is hugely used by students, research scholars, journalists,s and corporate employees. It helps to jot down important points or a summary which makes a user brief the task with other people. Software is easy to use and has a basic touch. Content can be stored and shared easily.

Clarify before hand any additional charges for remote hand and arrangement/SLA for remote hand. Negotiate well on these terms as they tend to be more flexible around this. Clarify shipping and handling charges if any.

• Application is little bit out dated and can have a new UI.
• Basic Grammar and Spell check functionality should be added.
• Should include more security layers.

• San Jose facility power outage caused damage to company's credibility, this should not occur again being 7x24 facility and backup generator
• Avoiding too many management changes will help create good connection with individuals for sustained harmony

Navisite's rates were better and they seemed to have more SQL Server expertise. This was about 5 years ago and it may not be the case anymore

• Positive: Easy file sharing and user friendly.
• Negative: No spell/grammar check functionality.
• Positive: Multiple device support.
• Positive: We can easily download any data once synced with the device via offline mode also.

• Cost savings by not having a full-time DBA on staff - saving of at least 50K a year
• Data team not on call 24/7
• Navisite team will try to fix issue if possible - e.g. shrink log files that have grown
