Memonic vs. Trend Vision One Security Operations

The Memonic tool is a very powerful application that is hugely used by students, research scholars, journalists,s and corporate employees. It helps to jot down important points or a summary which makes a user brief the task with other people. Software is easy to use and has a basic touch. Content can be stored and shared easily.

We were using Trend Micro Vision One as a demo and had a virus alert. Vision One gave us complete visibility into the incident and allowed us to easily perform incident response and glen up the laptop in question.

• Easy to use web surface.
• Easy sync of data between any device.
• Notes are stored without ay hassle and can be fetched even if you are not online.

• Application is little bit out dated and can have a new UI.
• Basic Grammar and Spell check functionality should be added.
• Should include more security layers.

Me and my team are using it every single day. We go over threats and vulnerabilities and try to fix it. Trend Vision One XDR has machine learning so it does a good job to learn the behavior of an end point and recognize if its normal or not, so its saves us from wasting time in some cases.

We had Trend Micro Apex One in the past and were quiet happy with it .I can't say about the price because its not my spot at our team but for my knowledge Trend Vision One XDR wasn't the most expensive overall. We also saw demo of the product and its abilities.

• Positive: Easy file sharing and user friendly.
• Negative: No spell/grammar check functionality.
• Positive: Multiple device support.
• Positive: We can easily download any data once synced with the device via offline mode also.

• It helped us close some security gaps
• We had PT and cyber and Information security audit, one of the things was to implement an better AV and XDR
