Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Trend Vision One XDR as our main anti virus and XDR tool in all of our devices. It can be installed on a windows machine, Linux, Windows Servers etc. we have a lots of sites and it helps up to control the end points in terms of security and network.

Pros

  • Blocks malewares
  • Blocks unwanted or dangerous files
  • alerts of any kind of NOT normal behavior

Cons

  • Install and uninstall the agent can be tricky sometimes
  • remove an endpoint from inventory not always going smooth
  • the sensor sometimes stops working and you need to reinstall it.

Return on Investment

  • It helped us close some security gaps
  • We had PT and cyber and Information security audit, one of the things was to implement an better AV and XDR

  • It is a great product and continually improving.

  • Uses analytics & threat intelligence to look for indicators of compromise when it comes to new threats like the RUYK Ransomeware and Darkside.
