Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Trend Vision One XDR as our main anti virus and XDR tool in all of our devices. It can be installed on a windows machine, Linux, Windows Servers etc. we have a lots of sites and it helps up to control the end points in terms of security and network.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Blocks malewares
Blocks unwanted or dangerous files
alerts of any kind of NOT normal behavior

Cons

Install and uninstall the agent can be tricky sometimes
remove an endpoint from inventory not always going smooth
the sensor sometimes stops working and you need to reinstall it.

Return on Investment

It helped us close some security gaps
We had PT and cyber and Information security audit, one of the things was to implement an better AV and XDR

Usability

Me and my team are using it every single day. We go over threats and vulnerabilities and try to fix it. Trend Vision One XDR has machine learning so it does a good job to learn the behavior of an end point and recognize if its normal or not, so its saves us from wasting time in some cases.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Defender XDR, SentinelOne Singularity and FortiXDR

We had Trend Micro Apex One in the past and were quiet happy with it .I can't say about the price because its not my spot at our team but for my knowledge Trend Vision One XDR wasn't the most expensive overall.
We also saw demo of the product and its abilities.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Trend Vision One XDR is great for small companies and large enterprises. I can say for certain that I know much more of the the endpoints behavior or things that the end user does than I knew before we implemented Trend Vision One XDR. You can see almost everything you need (and don't need).
