Mitratech Mineral vs. SkyPrep LMS

My company used the platform specifically to ensure employees had access to uniform compliance/HR training materials. We didn't use it much outside of that, except maybe to provide additional required training. It would be beneficial if an individual or company needed a solution like this. Individually, our HR team would also review training for ourselves when we had questions about something.

SkyPrep LMS is well-suited to organizations that do not currently utilize an LMS. The support provided from step one through implementation is excellent. SkyPrep LMS not only wants to help make an organization run more efficiently when it comes to upskilling employees and/or clients, they also want to learn from the needs of organizations in order to better serve all of their clients.

• The Set up is easy
• Tracking of employees progress is simple and easy to keep up with employees progress
• They have a great program for setting up various training groups - so you can assign the training programs as a group to the new hires at one time.

• Building a class is super easy from pre-recorded powerpoints, videos
• Assessment Building and Quizzes are user friendly
• The reporting features for both internal and external use by clients is robust, but also controllable
• Very extensive administrative features can be administered dependent on client/company needs

• Deleting employees from the system could be easier
• Adding your own content would be a nice feature

• Many of the features in the newly released "Studio" are difficult to understand
• It would be great if I had more control of what data my dashboard contained
• Need to streamline their email delivery system and offer fewer but richer features.

I say 9 instead of 10 not because of any lack of confidence in SkyPrep but only because I can't be sure how large or responsive my market -- male-friendly social workers and other helping professionals -- will be to my offerings.

From a user's standpoint, the platform was really easy to navigate, both from the employer and employee standpoints. I had no issues uploading employee information so they had access on day one, and I often helped employees access the platform and make sure they were set to complete their training. It was not often that we encountered an error, and when we did, it was easy to resolve for the employees.

The user interface is simple, clean, and intuitive to use for both learners and educators. Learning modules can be arranged in any fashion creators/educators desire and have assessments embedded within. Ordering of modules can be enforced, and content can be made optional or required easily. Everything is from top to bottom is customizable.

Safety Skills have more safety topics but Mineral safety videos are good too. In some ways, I prefer Mineral over Shrm due to the ease of finding the templates that I am looking for. It would be nice if they had an HR conference too because I never heard of Mineral until it was introduce to use by one of our vendors.

SkyPrep LMS was the most cost-effective solution that had all our desired features and functionality. Each platform has a lot of similarities and for us, ensuring ease of navigation and cost were top priorities. SkyPrep LMS appeared to be the most user-friendly -- the others had great features and functions, but SkyPrep LMS appeared as the cleanest.

• It has definitely been positive, but I'm not sure how I could measure the ROI. I feel it has given me more insight into certain situations, such as dealing with millennial employees, and has helped me to grow as a leader in my organization.

• Previously we had a limited # of clients who paid for access to our LMS. SkyPrep LMS allows us to proudly charge for access to our LMS now. We expect to achieve our ROI in the next 12 - 34 months.
