Plot Storyboard Creator vs. VEED.IO

The software is user-friendly in my opinion. The first project I supported was complicated and none of us had the technical experience to make a video. How we communicated about the project was also challenging since we did not live in the same place and could not meet easily. All that changed with the discovery of The Plot. The software makes it easy to share ideas, get input and keep track of the production.

VEED is a very simple and effective platform to create podcast videos and short video clips for social media marketing and educational purposes. If you only have audio files that you want to share on social media, you can transform these audio files into video files that can be shared on social media. You can embed the caption into the video and insert a progress bar which makes the video produced high quality and very user-friendly to consume. We use VEED to give a taster to our clients and we build a library of snackable videos.

Plotagon is easy to use but the characters and animation need enhancement. Plot Generator produces great ideas and scripts but they are not unique to individual projects. With The Plot Storyboard, you have control to create an organic project with better-animated characters

I originally chose Veed over Descript for its easy interface. However, I am switching back to Descript because in my opinion the product is less glitchy and comes with better support and features.

• Creative team is able to share project briefs with clients faster.
• Non-creative collaborators are not intimidated by a complex interface.
• Pricing is affordable.
