personally I work with different types of databases and based on project requirements I have to create multiple databases like in dev qa and prod.here MssqlMerge help me lot when it comes to work with multiple databases.also it help me search querry easily.

I asked questions about a warm standby and multicast replication. We ended up using bi-directional replication and a warm standby db. Having 3 or more live OLTP DB's where each was read-write was going to be difficult to manage for contention if the same table was being updated. We stuck with an easier solution to have only two OLTP's, and then used additional DB's as read-only DW's.

in my current project we have mssql database hosted in cloud and onprem both and I used MssqlMerge tool with Microsoft database from long back its feature and operation performance is very smooth and easily integrated with others database. hence I like this.
