Content Management Capabilties
Comparison of Content Management Capabilties features of Product A and Product B
Works well as an employee self service solution as well as case management for report requests. Electronic forms and routing are limited but are somewhat effective, depending of the requirements.
TIBCO BPM Enterprise allows integration with Corporate LDAP and at the same time define Role Based Access Control which helps in authentication and authorization of the users. It supports both default database and custom database. Drag and drop feature allows easy and faster way to do the development. It has support for deployment from design studio and scripted deployment as well. TIBCO BPM Enterprise has a wide range of plugins for development.
There is room for improvement in how Neocase manages form creation - this is an area that could be of great benefit - electronic forms as opposed to paper would benefit many companies looking for paperless solutions.
Routing capabilities could be improved to allow robust routing of electronic forms for approval purposes (those requiring multiple approvers
A little bit too conservative. Not really anything leading edge. [Tibco] has plenty of customers, and that means they will probably be around forever, but [product enhancements] seem to be more [abundant in competitor product offerings].
It would be great to have some pre-defined themes. Pie chart labels - it would be great to get more options for sizing and placement.
I find it hard to trust the online portal too much. I doubt the security that is offered by this software.
TIBCO BPM Enterprise can be integrated with other technologies like React UI which can be used to customize front end and TIBCO Business Works for processing. Services created in TIBCO BPM Enterprise can be exposed to REST which can be shared as API to external systems. Users can be created and modifies very easily using out of the box TIBCO BPM Openspace and Workspace. Events can be customized and this data can be used to generate reports.
For BPM we looked at some IBM products suites, BPM Online, Oracle products and Pega Systems. The decision to go with AMX BPM was based on the evaluation by the software architect team and the cost of acquiring the TIBCO suites.
