Pike13 vs. Shortcuts vs. Union Digital

Pike13 is well suited for a membership/subscription based service business, where invoicing is directly tied to a scheduled event. It is limited as a "retail cash register" for the sale of physical goods/merchandise with no readily available inventory system tied to sales.

It can actually handle the dynamic slotting, being an organization which is extremely operations-heavy, it becomes essential to manage inventory at out hand to increase efficiency and cut-down unnecessary cost to bring-in profitability; and Shortcuts solves perfectly for that

• The ability of the reporting function is strong, but the interface is not user friendly.
• The payroll function would be more powerful if it was integrated with main payroll providers.

• Shortcuts currently only provides expertise in salon and spa business, they can bring in expertise for different industries at hand
• The flexibility for rescheduling and cancelling the pre-booked slots can be relooked at
• Can offer additional features to the clients for a user-friendly UX

I haven't used the support at Pike13 directly. Our franchisor's IT department serves as an intermediary and seeks support at Pike13 on our behalf when required.

While Shortcuts has a more friendly UI, there are other vendors in the market that have developed their products in a way that suits user requirements from any industry. Shortcuts, in my opinion should look at expanding their use case to make it compatible for other industries as well
