Roadmark is a web-based product management tool for creating and sharing product roadmaps. When plans change, teams can branch a roadmap rather than replace the original timeline, preserving both the prior direction and the rationale for the change. Key Capabilities Branching roadmaps: Each change in direction creates a dated branch. The original and revised timelines remain visible on the roadmap. Decision logging: Roadmark requires a…

Additional DetailsRoadmark is priced per workspace, not per seat. A Pro or Team subscription covers the whole workspace at a flat monthly rate regardless of how many people work in it — Pro includes unlimited boards and up to 4 members; Team removes the member limit. Viewers of a public roadmap link never count as users and never require a seat or an account, so sharing a roadmap with investors, customers or the wider company adds nothing to the bill. The free plan is permanent rather than time-limited: up to 3 boards with branching, decision logs, imports and daily sync, and public share links. A 14-day Pro trial is available once per account and requires no credit card. Annual billing is $150 for Pro and $490 for Team — the equivalent of two months free versus paying monthly. Listed prices exclude VAT and sales tax, which are added at checkout. Roadmark is sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

ProdPad
It's definitely an improvement over our old Enhancements list that anyone could add to and just collected dust on a Share drive. ProdPad allows ideas to be sorted and archived, plus let's people comment on ideas - so it's pretty obvious is something is a good idea with lots of support or just some crackpot theory.

Cons
ProdPad
  • I'd like to see a better way to handle archived/won't do/already released feedback or ideas so that you have a bit of a history of requests and what has happened to them.

Support Rating
ProdPad
Excellent quick response from team members, great opportunities to engage in design discussions for upcoming features, never had a bug last long or go unresolved. Overall, support is one of the best parts of working with ProdPad.

Alternatives Considered
ProdPad
We were just capturing ideas in an Excel workbook, but that forced ownership to a single user for changes and updates and there wasn't any direct integration with project backlog. We actually didn't select ProdPad, a new VP came and brought it with him because it worked so well at his last place. Everybody here jumped on board, though.

The new branch forks from a chosen milestone, and the "Why are we changing direction?" field is required — a roadmap cannot change direction without a recorded reason. The dashed indigo line is the original plan; each coloured branch is a recorded change of direction, with completed, in-progress, and abandoned milestones shown on the same timeline. Milestones can be pulled from YouTrack, GitHub Projects, Jira, Notion, monday.com, Asana, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Linear, Shortcut, or from a CSV file.
