Stitch, or Stitch Data, now from Qlik is an ETL tool for developers; the company was spun off from RJMetrics after that company's acquisition by Magento. Qlik recommends users try Qlik Talend Cloud, though the Stitch platform is still available for data pipeline management to those who prefer it.N/A

A great tool for both prototyping and developing models to extract or query of data. When you don't have a specialised developer for pulling data, Skyvia is great solution. Very affordable for us. We did not find any areas where Skyvia let us down so very happy to recommend it to other users.

Stitch is very cheap and useful for small to medium size companies to ingest data from common apis/platforms in a quick and cheap way.

Pros
Devart
  • Skyvia is good at scheduled bidirectional data integration to/from multiple sources
  • The mapping is done automatically which saves a lot of time
  • I like that all connectors are included in the price, so I don't have to pay for using some new ones additionally

Cons
Devart
  • If there's something they can improve could be cheaper prices for LaTam
  • They can market their services in a larger scale, globally.

  • Stitch is not good at replicating document stores like MongoDB to relational databases. To be fair, this is a difficult task. Stitch flattens the objects, but the result is unwieldy.
  • Stitch cannot replicate the same source to multiple sinks, which is inconvenient if you want to replicate some of a datastore's tables to Redshift and others to Redshift Spectrum, for instance.

Usability
Devart
Loved using Skyvia for our projects, it saved time, allowed us to reach the desired outcome quickly and was easy to maintain. When we first used it we weren't sure we would be able achieve the outcome desired but during the trial it was quickly obvious we would be able to achieve what we needed for data connection and reporting.

Compared to similar user-friendly data integration systems like Integrate.io, Stitch, or Azure, Skyvia still wins in the number of connectors and pricing policy. Skyvia is a tool for companies like ours, starving for simple but, at the same time, robust and cost-effective data transfer solutions. It doesn't require additional knowledge for implementation and usage because it's no code. We'd recommend Skyvia as the best solution for non-technical staff.

Stitch from Talend is way more cost effective and has a business model that better aligns with our company. From what I can tell Stitch from Talend has a better customer support platform as well and has been very easy to work with when issues have come up. They also seem less pushy when it comes to sales.

  • The core of our business lies in analyzing data from various sources, and while ETL itself is not our primary focus, it is a necessary process to achieve our goals. Thanks to Skyvia, we are able to streamline the ETL process at a reasonable price, allowing us to dedicate our efforts to data analysis without the burden of ETL complexities.

  • Good ROI in terms of being able to monitor cost performance from Google, Facebook, etc.
  • Easy to have Salesforce data and Intercom data for dashboards.
