Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a Direct Mail fundraising agency. Using Workfront to initiate and execute campaigns and projects for all aspects of our production team. Strategy, creative, production, data, and billing teams all have tasks and requests. Replacing emails and spreadsheets with an accessible, visible system that encapsulates our entire process for large multinational clients, and those in a few counties. The scalability allows us to expand and contract wherever needed. Reporting gives us immediate insight and a constant overview of progress or potential risks. Accountability has been a huge challenge, with assignments and Request queues with SLAs, we are actively reducing project completion time and improving workflow efficiency. Reporting gives individuals the power to see what is relevant to them on a daily basis. Also allows us to have immediate presentations or stand-up meetings without spending hours preparing. The information can be delivered to stakeholders and clients routinely. We have also reduced the number of client review rounds by adopting the proofing system. Greatly reducing turnaround time both internally and with clients on creative as well as contract sign-off. Workforce gives us flexibility and scope for the future, integrations are our next step, and with AI as well, the future is looking very bright!

Having requests for immediate work being routed directly to the team members who perform the function. Proofreading needs to happen fast and turnaround quickly while retaining visibility everywhere. Through reporting and statuses, we can show progress at every stage. A large campaign organization means multiple requests and documents going between departments. By using requests alongside related rejects, we have everything in one place.

Cons

We tried to integrate the tasks and statuses with automation, but because users can un-do their tasks they think they can un-do automation. It would be better to be able to trigger fusion from something other than a project or task status

I have used this for end to end Marketing automation that involves integrating the campaign task including Adobe products like Firefly, AEM, etc. The plan is to scale this further for internal marketing and well evolving this into an enterprise offering involving various gating steps (human-in-loop).

We use Adobe Workfront for intake forms and tickets, as well as a project management tool. It is included in our contract with Adobe, which helps from a cost standpoint, but it lacks in interface and usability on a daily basis. It is used company wide, although some teams have moved to using other tools due to the functionalities offered with other project management tools.

Adobe Workfront is the backbone of our Product Development Process. The system excels at scaling complex workflows, but does require a strong governance model to support the system. The system provides end to end visibility of your operations work. The configuration of the system meets where you are at with your workflows. Adobe Workfront is an incredibly powerful tool that shifts teams from fragmented, manual work to connected, automated workflows with real visibility.
