Love Agility PR Solutions
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I use Agility PR Solutions in multiple ways at my organization. I use it to track mentions of my organization and companies that are members of our organization (260 companies). We were previously doing this with Google Alerts which was not precise and it made a lot of information for me to weed through. I also use it to find appropriate reporters to contact about various initiatives.
Pros
- Tracking mentions. You can set up countless tracking modules based on keywords and other factors to get to exactly what you want so you get only the mentions you need.
- Reporter contacts. Up to date reporter contacts can be found here. I love that I don't get tons of bounce backs and I can find reporters on the beats and in the locations that I need.
- Reports. You can set up automated reports about different mentions so you don't have to go and check on them. You can even set them up as RSS feeds so you can feature them on your website.
Cons
- There is a lot of stuff you can do on the website, and it can be challenging to find what you need without asking customer service for help. I'm a person who likes to do things for myself.
- Sometimes I wish that more of their features were just a part of what was available instead of an upsell. I want to use everything but can afford it.
- I feel like they upgrade a lot which is great but at the same time, changing the feeling of things makes it feel less familiar.
Likelihood to Recommend
Agility PR Solutions is well-suited to finding mentions for a large number of keywords and keeping them organized. As a membership association, this is perfect for us because we are able to track all of our members. We are also able to use it to find up-to-date reporter contacts in the right areas for our media pitches and press releases for both ourselves and members. Scenarios where Agility PR Solutions is not well suited... I haven't really found any yet. I anticipate that if you expected the software to do everything for you, then maybe that would be a problem.
