Backup Radar, a simple must for every customer and MSP
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Backup Radar solved a lot of issues for us. Being a MSP, with multiple customers we have a large number of individual backup jobs running across our customer base. One of the biggest challenges has always been to accurately monitor all backup jobs, and then be able to report to our customers. In Backup Radar I can now do this in a single pane of glass, be it in Azure Backups, Acronis Backups, Veeam Backups, or Spanning Backups. We got it all covered with automated monitoring, as well as reporting on schedule to our customers.
Pros
- Backup Monitoring (no successful backups in 24 hours)
- Automated Ticketing (Backup Radar logs the tickets in our PSA system)
- Automated Reporting (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting)
Cons
- None offhand that I can think of
Likelihood to Recommend
We have more than 2500 individual backup jobs across our customer base. With Backup Radar, I now have a detailed, accurate insight into all jobs. I do not have to wonder or doubt if the backup job did not run, it logs a "no result in 24 hours" ticket for me and if it failed, I get a failure ticket logged. It cannot be more simple. This is done across multiple different backup software. The reporting, be it on demand, or scheduled, is absolutely brilliant and super valuable.
