the Bitwarden Vault, where users can generate, autofill, and share unlimited credentials and other sensitive data from any browser, mobile device, or desktop application.
the Bitwarden browser extension that protects passwords and digital secrets in a vault, auto-fills them, and generates new passwords that are fully encrypted end-to-end (even the Bitwarden team can’t access them).
Bitwarden's password generator, used to generate strong and unique passwords, including usernames. It also integrates with email alias services for additional security. Using the strong generator tool keeps personal info like anniversaries and pet names out of your passwords, out of the dark web, and out of hackers’ hands.
Bitwarden Send, a feature that lets users quickly share encrypted files and text with another individual via a private link. It can also be used to automatically share vault items using collections in a Bitwarden organization.
Bitwarden's sync feature, that syncs passwords and other sensitive data (like identities, addresses, and credit cards) across devices, including mobile devices.

Seamless Integration for My Video Agency

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Bitwarden has helped my agency keep track of all of our account logins, speed up our workflow, and protect our data. Whether we're booking a last minute work trip or storing vendor payment information, Bitwarden has seamlessly integrated into our workflow, saving us time and money.

For years, we would store login information utilizing the notes app on our phones which isn't safe and takes additional steps. Additionally, we were using similar passwords for all of our work accounts because it was easier to remember. Bitwarden's built-in password generator made it easy to quickly generate and save strong and unique passwords for all my accounts. There's a new level of comfort knowing that our account information is protected thanks to Bitwarden.

Pros

  • Their Browser extension seamlessly integrates into your workflow
  • Collections keep information very organized within your Vault
  • Vault Health Reports help identify weak or reused passwords
  • Their built-in password generator is quick and easy to use
  • UI is very user-friendly
  • Video tutorial's are very helpful on their website

Cons

  • Browser extension Login Autofill sometimes doesn't work for some websites

Return on Investment

  • Saves me time by storing all of my login information. I'm no longer digging through my notes app or having to reset passwords that I've forgotten.
  • Stores vendor names, addresses, and W-9's. I don't have to text or email vendor's asking for this info every time I work with them.
  • Protects my data by identifying weak or unused passwords. Bitwarden helped me identify multiple weak and reused passwords and I quickly updated them using their built-in password generator.

Best password manager on the market

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have thousands of passwords that were kept insecurely in Excel, Notepad, and pieces of paper everywhere around the building. With Bitwarden, we were able to consolidate them all securely and administer them to the proper people. We were also able to make several external accounts used by multiple people more secure by having a one-stop place to get MFA codes.

Pros

  • Securely stores passwords
  • Makes organizing them easy
  • MFA repository for multi-user accounts

Cons

  • keywords to help with searching
  • an on-prem only offering
  • setting for default owner and location settings

Return on Investment

  • Better pen testing scores to lower insurance
  • Better management of passwords
  • End of losing credentials and then having to recover them later

Bitwarden is an excellent and comprehensive password manager!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Bitwarden as my main non-OS or device specific password manager. I use multiple devices with different OS for work. Bitwarden solves the issue of having a password manager that works with pretty much any device and OS. If I use the iPhone built-in password manager, I have to manually look up and type the password into a Windows laptop. If I use a browser-based password manager like Google...then when I have a password for a non-browser-based application, I'm also back to cutting and pasting passwords.

Pros

  • Access to save and retrieve password on multiple devices and OS
  • Auto creation of passwords which you can customize length and complexity level.
  • Ability to organize passwords by subject folders
  • Ability to organize different passwords by types like cards vs sites vs identity, and notes

Cons

  • Laptop access is not as easy as phone access

Return on Investment

  • Secure password management
  • Cost effective solution
  • Maximum flexibility by supporting multiple devices and OS.

My organization uses Bitwarden to store all of our login information, passwords, banking info and other sensitive information safely.

Pros

  • Allows user to safely store sensitive information
  • Helps create unique and complicated passwords
  • Allows you to create folders for password organization
  • allows you to decide which team member has access to what folders

Cons

  • I think that it works wonderfully and can't think of any improvements at the moment.

Return on Investment

  • Gives employer the piece of mind knowing that passwords are safely stored in one place
  • If an employee leaves, you don't have to go searching for passwords, they should all be in one place in Bitwarden.
