BMC AMI Ops Cloud

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We create Immutable backups to protect our data and secure our transaction logs. It allows us to protect customer data also. We also use BMC AMI Ops Cloud to make a One Pack IPL RES volume to restore at the DR Site.

  • Development is still evolving
  • Many PTFs are still Being created
  • Would like to see a z/OSMF version of the Install process

Return on Investment

  • Delay’s of product functionality
  • Fast restore are available with the product
  • The BMC IS works well, but we would like to see a z/OSMF installation in the near future
