The former Luceo is now the CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking system.

Luceo was originally Profilsoft, a French company, but was bought by Careerbuilder and rebranded Luceo, featured at over 400 companies worldwide. Luceo presented a full suite of features typical of applicant tracking systems: a user-friendly interface with mobile integration and an emphasis on the candidate's perspective, batch or mass communication with potential candidates via multiple channels such as email or by leveraging its integration with social networking sites (e.g. LinkedIn and Facebook), resume parsing, data and document uploading, candidate assessment testing, and extensive candidate background checking via partnership with ZeroChaos. Transitioning and implementation is supported via live customer support through the customer portal and online training modules and tutorials.

We were in need to keep track of applicants when we were doing a large hiring for customer service representatives. At that time we did not have any way to keep track of resumes other then in email which was not easy to do. We wanted something that would allow HR as well as managers be able to review resumes all in the same platform.

  • search function could be more robust
  • page layout
Great for a small company that doesn't have a lot of resources. Allows manager and HR to be on the same location to review resumes and assess them. Alerts can be sent to managers all in the system. I really like the product so don't know where it would be less appropriated if you really needed a ATS

Didn't always get good resumes from Monster. CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking allowed us to get resumes and track all in one place which was very helpful for the project we were working on at the time. Resumes were good as well as system itself. The managers all like it as well which is a big help when you want their buy in to a product to use.

Our company has to recruit - train - hire all online. One person has to keep track of all the applications for one entire state. Our goal was to be organized with the process and be able to attract more quality candidates rather than numbers. We found that for what we are looking for hire-wise, we were not getting with this system.
  • Easy user face.
  • Easy to learn.
  • Easy to work with, always helpful.
  • The ability to not allow applicants to apply more than one time if that application has been rejected in the past.
I think for more professional setting jobs this program will work. I think the scope and types of hires we make tend to go elsewhere.

Indeed seems to have a grip on most hiring for our profession. The only reason why most companies use Indeed is that that's what most employees searching for jobs will use. While Indeed is not always the easiest to use, and it's certainly not the cheapest option, it's the most well-known. I can relate it to Mcdonald's; not the best hamburger, but it's there.

We have many new hire process because we have several maintenance companies nationwide, we use Careerbuilder Application Tracking to track all our new hire applications, as we have multiple jobs in multiple states,the applicaton helps us with our hiring process, it makes it easier and faster for our HR department to evaluate each application.

  • I would like to see a Multi Language Forms maybe. Spanish and English
  • Also the Form Creating maybe it can be made easier.
For New Hires, also for multiple job openings the software allows you create and use forms to make it easier for the HR department and for all the candidates to apply to multiple locations and multiple Jobs, business can use the software to create multiple job applications for multiple states.

Careerbuilder Applicant tracking was a lot easier to use and also cheaper to use overall, to set up its easier to, the software for career builder applicant its easier than any other that we have use, the time it takes you to setup New Job applications its shorter than any other software that we know in the market, therefore we highly recomend.

This was being used for a local client, who has about 220 employees. The hiring managers are trying to use it, but it's mostly used by the HR manager and the recruiter.
  • It provided real time data, with readable reports.
  • It makes posting jobs easier, post in the system, and it blasts to job boards.
  • The metrics available to time to fill, etc., are user friendly, and creating reports is simple.
  • Search tool has limits. You can key word search, and that is about it.
  • When reading a resume for one job respondent in a requisition, I would like to stay in that same viewing mode when jumping to the next candidate with less clicks!
Luceo is well suited for small to medium sized companies, with not too many users.

Taleo, and ZipRecruiter. It has very similar features to ZipRecruiter but it is much more readable, and has actual reports to use. Taleo is too big.
