SAP CDC Software Experience with Error checking Dashboard. it would be awesome

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

CDC Software is used a Single source of Customer Data Center. Our Organization is a Electronics Applicances Manufacturer Company and we give the After Sales Service Support, for all these Customer Information is vital and we have a very huge landscape of application needs customer data. So SAP CDC Software stores all customer information and it is used to authenticate Customer Login to Brand store, Shop Site and other Company related access

Pros

  • Single Source of Customer Data Storage
  • Easier to Authorize and Authenticate from any Site with Easier Setup
  • Easy to Manage and Access the Customer Subscription List and Customer Consent Preferences
  • Easier to track the Customer Activity in overall Organization Landscape

Cons

  • Logging Feature was not good. for basic it was good but for advanced issue checking and logs access it was not great. In our Product Landscape Picture we are using DataDog for Log Checking and Debugging
  • Sometimes, the CDC Software shows DataCenter and Server Generic errors Count were high, No way to see and check the SAP CDC Software System Health Activity
  • For Site SSL Expiry, there is no Proper Notification Service. Sometimes we get notification, sometimes we dont get.
  • so to tackle we have developed a Custom Solution with SAP CPI. It would be better. if by default it was working well

Return on Investment

  • major benefit was customer onboarding and login experience. smoother registration, secure access and better profile management helped easier integration with Customer Data
  • Centralized Consent and subscription repository of entire Customer makes it easier to check and able to operate based on that
  • Intial Setup and Integrations required effort but later it eases the Customer Onboarding and Management process overall. so Long term ROI has been strong and our clients are happy with this tool
