CrowdRise: great for small non-profits

Pros

  • Peer-to-peer fundraising
  • Fundraising pages

Cons

  • The fees can be a little higher for small non-profits.
  • I wish there was more customization with their follow up emails.

Return on Investment

  • It has helped us raise thousands of dollars that we wouldn't have otherwise.
  • No negative ROI

Pros

  • Registration.
  • Fundraising visuals.

Cons

  • Need a clearer picture of your campaign status, especially around publishing (making it live).
  • Processing rates are not horrible but not great either - If we used our own processor our fees would be cut in half.

Return on Investment

  • Positive - When the platform upgraded our previous campaigns were available.
  • Negative - Internal UX/UI should be clearer regarding stage of campaign publishing.
