DateRounds is a web-based speed dating software designed for matchmakers, event hosts, and venue operators to automate participant rotations and match tracking. The platform operates on standard mobile and desktop browsers, allowing participants to join via QR code or entry code without requiring account registration, email addresses, or application downloads.

The pairing engine in DateRounds utilizes an algorithm intended to minimize participant sitouts, particularly during events with uneven attendee counts. The system is designed to prioritize individuals who sat out in previous rounds for subsequent pairings. Hosts manage the event configuration—including round counts, matching modes, and the Automated Timer—from a browser-based dashboard.
