Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We previously used it as our BCDR solution. Its primary purpose was to provide backup and recovery capabilities for the servers we manage. One of the key benefits was its ability to maintain consistent snapshots across multiple client environments through a centralized management platform. It also made recovery straightforward, allowing us to quickly spin up a snapshot for file restoration whenever needed.

Pros

  • All clients on the same Webui.
  • Easy to spin up a snapshot.
  • Support is fast.

Cons

  • It can be sometimes complicated to change the settings.
  • They make it very difficult to migrate the backups.

Return on Investment

  • The only negative was that when trying to migrate to another BCDR solution, they were not helpful in recovering the data.
