i am an administrator at my organisation. i use Diligent to load documents and create decks for board committees. the platform has proven to be user friendly for both administrators and directors. also very safe for confidential data. i love that there are resources within the platform that form part of learning how the platform works. Diligent is very practical.

Diligent is a safe platform for confidential data, and organisations benefit immensely from this. For large oganisations that has to share data across many users, the organisation is guaranteed secure sharing of this data.

The platform is user friendly for its users, which makes it easy for anyone even as a beginner to hop on the platform and navigate their way through.

I use Diligent to manage meeting papers and hold governance type information for how our entity works and the resonsibilities the directors have.

It is just so easy to use and very intuitive. I have had two new board members join us and they have been able to access and read papers straight away. This makes it very easy from a Board Secretary point of view.

We use Diligent Boards for preparing and viewing board and committee materials for meetings. Organising books that have numerous reports as well as other reading materials in the resource centre.

Likelihood to Recommend

Appropriate for preparation and publication of board materials, and allows directors to easily navigate through long papers or books. Less appropriate for preparing written resolutions and other standalone documents.

We use Diligent Boards for multiple Boards, Committees and Investment Committees across over 500 entities. Diligent Boards enables us to set user access permissions easily to avoid potential conflicts of interest, and provides a secure method of delivering information to Directors, Management and Committee Members. We are in the process of upgrading to Diligent Pro which will provide the secure file sharing functionality.

Likelihood to Recommend

Diligent Boards is valuable where organisations have several boards and entities and are able to centralise the board management process. However as it is expensive and there are minimum fees, it may not be the best option in the market for smaller organisations which have only a few entities, for those other options such as Box may be a better option.

Managing the Board Papers is time consuming, saving the minutes, agenda's and reports on our server has caused issues when Board members request copies, etc. it requires someone to search through folders to copy and send electronically to the members.

With Diligent, this has saved time and makes it easier for the Board to access and review past papers, future Agendas and current Reports.

Using Diligent has resulted in less maintenance of reports, Agendas and minutes. they are all accessible via the App for the Board and can be managed through the Web portal by the Company Secretary and Executive Team before sharing with the Board, it makes it less work to collate everything before and after a board meeting.

We use Diligent Boards for our agenda building and Board pack presentation. It allows for users across jurisdictions to access material for review before and during our meetings.

With directors cross jurisdictions it is excellent for allowing directors access when it suits them. The security is very good and being able to restrict particular documents is very handy. The notes functionality is useful.

Diligent is great as a repository for board information. Diligent can adopt AI for improving user experience in creating an agenda, etc.

We have had several directors complain when Diligent stops working for no reason, or papers just don't upload, and the support team never provides any effective support to resolve the issue or follow up. Very slow to respond to requests, such as overlapping director accounts, and requires repeated requests to take action.

Diligent makes communication between management and the Board so efficient. No need to worry about confidentiality, as the platform is secure.

If the Board needs information and it is after hours, Diligent allows confidential information to be shared without the need to password protect.

Diligent is the best app for managing board information and storing important board information. In particular, the Resources tab. The Minute tab is also very helpful for storage of minutes for use by the board without reviewing a full board pack. It becomes quicker and more user-friendly.
