I use Dropbox on a daily basis to share files between team members, clients, and vendors. It allows multiple ways to share these files with collaborators, either with password protection or not, and with named individuals or one individual.

Dropbox ensures continuity of file management between our studio team, and account service team, ensuring a consistent digital archive and filing system of our most important work. Additionally, it acts as a repository of all past work - we can see what we've done in the past and how we've delivered to client solutions.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Dropbox to share files across my organization. I find it far more simple than traditional cloud storage. The interface is clean and intuitive. The storage and file sharing options are almost unlimited in their customization options. The best thing about Dropbox is that I can bring a new user into the fold and they can start using it immediately. There is virtually zero training required. This makes my onboarding far easier and allows me to focus on more important tasks and not waste time on basic IT functions.

Dropbox is great for basic file sharing. It has replaced my cloud storage needs by a factor of 5X. On large projects with many team members scattered across the globe and with various levels of technical expertise it makes getting everyone up to speed a simple no-brainier. Dropbox is my 'go to' application for new projects that need fast simple file sharing.

I use Dropbox to keep all of my content organized in one place. As a content creator, I’m constantly working with large photo and video files, and Dropbox makes it easy to store, back up, and access them from any device.

Finding older files can sometimes be difficult
working with large video files, storage fills up quickly, so more affordable storage options would be helpful.

Dropbox works really well for storing and sharing large video and photo files. I use it to keep client projects organized, back up content, and send finished work without having to worry about file size limits. It's less useful for project management or content reviews.

I use Dropbox to store all of my paperwork in a safe and secure way. It allows for me to create separate folders for each type of paperwork, which makes things extremely organized and easy to find. My boss and I share the account access, so if he ever needs any of the paperwork and I am not available, it is easy for him to locate. I started using Dropbox 1.5 years ago, had never used it before, and now would never give it up. It makes my job so organized and easy. I would definitely give it a 5 star review.

runs extremely fast, never have any glitches
easy to learn, taught myself

Cons

I have not had any things that Dropbox could not do for me, so i have not come across any ways to improve as of yet

It is easy and secure to share files with Dropbox.

To store more documents the cost can become high especially for smaller teams.
Syncing very large files can take longer than expected.

I am a suburban accounting office in Perth, Western Australia trading as AXXO Accounting & Management. We use Dropbox for all our background administrative work in our firm, and prefer it to Google Drive, One Drive of Box. We are on the AU$184.67 / year plan which gives us 2 TB of storage, which is more than enough for our needs. We have found that using only one online storage solution, like Dropbox, for our firm keeps all file, documents, etc. in one safe location and we all know where to find information. Using Dropbox as our only location of all firm documents makes it easy to streamline our productivity as all members can access all our files and work on them simultaneously and they automatically sync. Dropbox is accessible wherever any team member is, in the office, at home or away as it is accessible on their devices from anywhere as it is in the cloud. We also use it to store photos and videos that we may need to sent to clients. This is possible because Dropbox allows large files, especially videos to be uploaded to it. We also use it to send clints documents to sign as it has a feature like document sign and it advises you when the document is signed. This feature is used for signing tax return documents for lodging with the Tax Office. We can also share specific folders and files with other people and clients outside the firm. This makes it easy to collaborate with them without lengthy emails. For example, when preparing a client tax return, they can upload their tax receipts and the tax documents. We can then ask any questions, etc. for any information we need extra to finish the tax return. All in all, Dropbox is a great repository for storing, collaborating and working between team members and working with clients in real time.

I utilize it to store MS Office files so that I can access them from multiple devices. It reduced the need to email myself files and ensures I am always working with the most current version of the file. It also makes it easy to share large files with other people.

We use Dropbox to share files with others in other countries. All co-workers are able to access the files, make changes, and share files with others outside of our organization by providing a link. This has been very helpful. There is plenty of storage and you are able to delete files just for your sign on or everyone's sign in.
