We are a small digital agency, WSI franchised, and we build websites for S&M businesses. We use Duda since 2018 and have around 30 active websites. It is a feature rich, easy to use, consistent, flexible and very secure platform, which makes our building process and client management quick and efficient. Its customer support is helpful, and of course the resulting websites are modern, beautiful, elegant and very easy and quick to create and maintain. All in all is a great SaaS platform!
Pros

Duda is great for small to medium sized websites building, where some level of animation is ok and mostly for presenting online information, and its SEO performance is very good then. But for very large or heavily interactive websites it may not be the best choice.

It is super easy to use Duda when it comes to having no web design experience. I started don this platform 3 months ago and already feel like I know it more than some platforms I have been using for years and years. It is so easy to learn and use.
I used Duda to build website for clients. These would be independent soloprenereurs and non profit organizations. They don't have a team to help make software updates, so Duda is the perfect CMS solution for them. I have used many CMS platforms over the last 15 years and I find Duda to be very user-friendly.
Pros
Professional templates to choose from
Great account plans for agencies
Easy CMS
Good pricing
Great customer service
Cons
The CMS is glitchy at times
Need to clear cache in browser to fix glitch issues
Need ability to have global elements
Would like the ability to change templates and keep content

Duda is great for agencies. There is a good client management area. It's even good for small businesses. They can choose a template and build out their own site. It's easy to customizes a website from a barebones template. There are many customizations in the each widget. The pricing is good for all size businesses. There is no tech headache with updates and backups.
We are a authorized whitelabeler of Duda. Our agency uses Duda as an easy-to-use offering for clients that don't quite fit the scope of our larger offerings. We use the platform as a way to capture small business clients with smaller budgets and offer them a powerful, intuitive, and developer-free website experience without the cost of a full-on custom WordPress or HubSpot CMS implementation.
Pros
Flexibility in Designs
Intuitive Interface
Customer Support
Third Party Widgets
Cons
Builder Bugs
Some Widgets Aren't Useful

In our use-case of Duda, we always recommend prospects a Duda site if it is clear that a large custom project is outside of their budget. Small businesses that need a simple and professionally designed website, and do not require custom functionality are a great fit for Duda. Especially because Duda has some room to expand into basic functionalities such as bookings, calendars, e-commerce, etc. Sometimes, it's all a client needs.
That being said, Duda does still have a high ceiling of potential, offering plenty of flexibility with third-party widgets, apps, and custom code options. We just don't sell it that way. Our focus with Duda is building professionally designed websites for clients that they can easily manage themselves, without the cost of a web developer.
Duda exceeds expectations on a variety of levels for website development, branding, and marketing. I use it to build websites for internal and client use, and also whitelabel. It has been much easier to work with and maintain than Wordpress and helps achieve great client satisfaction. Here are some of the areas Duda shines:
- Usability - Whitelabeling - Ongoing Improvements & Education - Communication - Support - Innovation
Pros
Ongoing Education for agencies and users. Anton has done what he does best and turned Duda into a go-to-source for information, ideas, and practical implementation.
UX - The ability to create simple yet highly customizable sites.
Speed - Sites take much less time to build and maintain, allowing agencies to scale and business owners to spend more time on growing their core revenue channels.
Reliability - From technical reliability, reduced down-time to support, Duda is a reliability option.
Cons
Additional agency plans

It is the best product for an agency creating websites at scale
My agency has used Duda since 2011 and love it. We used to have 450 Wordpress websites and in 2017 converted 375 of them to Duda. We have not looked back since. We recently developed our 2,000th website with Duda. The growth at our agency would have been impossible without it. The software is amazing, the support is great and the people are the best. This is a company who cares about their clients. Not easy to find that is today's world. Duda allows us to build gorgeous websites that generate leads for SMBs. My clients love that we are able to bring them this type of powerful software to help run their businesses. For us, Duda is the next great thing in website development. And gets better every year.
Pros
Makes editing a breeze. An edit in Wordpress that took an hour takes 10 minutes in Duda
Embedded stats dashboard is a game-changer. Clients have real-time access to their statistics.
Taking a desktop site and making it gorgeous in tablet and mobile versions
Cons
Ecommerce can use some improvement--but this should be taken care of in 2023
A more robust app marketplace
More custom widgets
Likelihood to Recommend
Duda is well suited for almost 100% of SMBs. Duda is less suited for robust ecommerce websites.
We build websites for our own uses and for a number of clients, many of who want to be able to make their own website updates whenever they choose.
In most cases for our own clients, they want to update their services, post to their blog, and update their team pages.
Pros
Very easy for users to make updates
Changing the global design (fonts, for example)
We cn assign permissions to clients based on their level of comfort with online editing
Cons
Emails to those who fill out web forms could be more streamlined
Internal collections (simple database) should allow CSV import/export
Would like to see more fine-grained options with permissions for clients
Likelihood to Recommend
I find Duda great for setting up new custom websites for clients. While they provide a large number of templates, we can build custom sites starting from scratch, and not be dependent on a template.
There are cases where "membership" options would be useful, such as allowing members of a group to update their own profile for example, and limit people to certain parts of a website created with Duda. Fortunately, these seem to be in beta testing now for addition to their product.
