Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being used as our inventory management and as a product listing tool for our website and other selling channels. It is used across the whole organization and it addresses our inventory management issues between multiple marketplaces, selling channels, etc.

Pros

  • Good for syncing inventory between many different selling channels
  • Good for listing products on many different selling channels
  • More affordable than other competitors with the same features

Cons

  • The product listing tool can use some improvement
  • A mobile app would be very useful

Likelihood to Recommend

It would be well suited for a business that is just starting out with inventory management and sells on multiple channels. They are a growing company that is constantly changing and making improvements. I don't think there is another competitor out there that can offer the same features at their price point.

It may not be well suit for large organizations.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ecomdash is being used to manage warehouse inventory and update it across multiple platforms. This keeps everything in sync.

Pros

  • Manage inventory. Comprehensive management and many features.
  • Fast syncing. Inventory updates are pushed out almost immediately.
  • Pricing. For the price, ecomdash is a good value.

Cons

  • User interface. The whole thing feels clunky.
  • Knowledge-base. Their searchable knowledge base isn't really all that helpful. It feels like it was written as an afterthought.

Likelihood to Recommend

It syncs with many platforms, so it's very adaptable. However, the interface is not user-friendly and takes quite a bit to get used to.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ecomdash to keep our inventory in sync across 6 different platforms. We have wholesale, retail, two online channels, mobile sales, 3rd-party sites, and fundraising. It has helped us massively reduce the amount of overselling and inventory confusion by consolidating everything into one place.

Pros

  • Multi-channel inventory sync: automatic depletion and restoration of inventory with sales and refunds, syncing back to all your channels.
  • Sales order and purchase order management: keep track of things you buy and sell while simultaneously keeping your inventory accurate.
  • Custom upload and export formats: you can make ecomdash work with almost any platform by creating your own formats to upload or export your data.

Cons

  • The platform is highly capable, which means it can also be confusing and there is a learning curve. Thankfully they have a pretty extensive knowledge base.
  • They integrate natively with a select number of 3rd party services, but there are some notable large companies missing from the list that integrate with most other platforms. More integrations would be highly appreciated.
  • Pricing is based on the volume of orders, with a fairly low threshold for the cheapest plan. I'd like to see more features added to the plans that cost more so you don't just feel like you're being charged for having more customers.

Likelihood to Recommend

We have recommended ecomdash to many people that sell on multiple channels. It is too advanced for stores that maybe only sell in two places, but once you get multiple channels going, we think it's the most comprehensive platform for the price.
