We had launched an entire 80 page blog using studiopress and a combination of another 12 plugins. However, we had no internal competencies in using the associated advanced version of genesis blocks. The initial template we had chosen was more aligned with genesis blocks. However, for phase 1 launch, most the requirements had been met without genesiss blocks - until - a specific requirement came in: Many of the product pages needed a tabular format and the associated plugins for tabular display were not rendering as desired. This stalled the entire project and we sought technical consultations and Elementor came to rescue. The front end is very intuitive , learning curves much less complex and the output is completely mobile responsive!
Pros
Easy to use front end and thus reduced learning curves
Does not require very design competencies for minor operations/info. updates
Definitely mobile responsive and friendly
Integrates very well with wordpress including studiopress (Genesis wordpress)
Cons
Could definitely use an AI bot for ad-hoc customer queries
Very limited Wdgets available in free version - If you have complex pages, go pro
Ensure robust internet speed (50 MBPS bare minimum) to be able to operate it. Below 8 GB RAM is not advised

The user interface is so intuitive that a devoted fresher with prior web design training and creative, right brain skills could easily come up to speed and deploy long form sales pages and similar complex webpages. However, it is not recommended for someone who has no web design creativity/inclination and the manager will be better off (A) delegating the initial design to an expert and (B) training internal staff on tactical updates. The tool is quite powerful, overall

We use Elementor as the theme design layer of Wordpress websites that we build for ourselves and clients. We have chosen to use it because it has professional-level options for us as designers and developers, but it is simple enough for us to be able to hand over to the client to make changes if and when they want to. It is easy to use, very visual, and gives access to the settings that proper designers want to use.
Pros
Visual design for Wordpress themes
Easy to drag-and-drop content elements
Comes with good pre-made themes
Access to advanced settings for front-end devs
Cons
Some specific features like slideshows, if you want a very customised experience it has to be manually created
Some 3rd-party themes that are built on Elementor lose compatibility after updates if they're not well made
It requires an extra layer of support because it's not a core part of Wordpress

Elementor is a Wordpress page builder that allows me to create attractive, interactive and creative web pages on our WordPress website. As the website designer, I was looking for a cost-effective plugin that helped me to create various types of landing pages and even blog posts. I had been using the free version for 6 months and wanted more flexibility and power in customizing the pages to suit my visual branding so I invested in the pro plan.
Pros
You can create professional and creative web pages and it works with all the WordPress themes I've used.
Free plan with some useful features to get started with.
Easy to set up and get started with and if you get stuck provides useful video tutorials.
Has a great Facebook community that provides tips, advice, and support.
Cons
What Elementor could really improve on is being more flexible with the plan that only allows you to use on one website. I was moving my website and when I tried to upload my paid plugin to the new website as the old one was deleted it didn't allow me and stated I had to purchase a new pro plan. I was so frustrated as I still had 5 months left on the old plan. So, more flexibility and understanding of plans is needed.
Needs to improve the number of glitches and Elementor not being available as that can be very frustrating when you plan to be making edits on your web pages.
Better integration with other plugins. The discovered some of the issues I had faced with Elementor was because it wasn't compatible or conflicted with themes and other plugins.

If a colleague or family or friend was looking for an easy to use website page builder I would definitely recommend that they try out Elementor. I wouldn't straight off the bat recommend buying the pro plan and instead get them to test it out and see if they can create the types of pages they have in mind to see if achievable as there might be a better alternative for them.
