Dealer Management Systems

The whole company uses ERA-IGNITE. It is used for accounting, Finance, Sales, Parts, and Service. We use it to maintain customer records and process sales, and financial data.

I like when you are punching journal entries, checks, etc. you get the schedule balance at the bottom. That is very beneficial.
Payable checks are well done. You can pay by invoice or vendor.
There are numerous reports that you can create in RMI to help with any specific reporting that is needed.

The Financial Statements can only be printed on legal and instead of scrolling through it to look at it you have to navigate it at the top with the arrows.
Their time clock is not user-friendly. You cannot just pull up one person and look at their time and make changes. You have to go through like you want to print, look at the time for the employee to find errors, then back out and go into a different screen to correct.
Giving employees access to different functions is a nightmare. It is not at all laid out the way Ignite is used, and there are numerous hidden check boxes.

Creating numerous reports on ERA-IGNITE is beneficial in seeing where you are getting the best ROI and where you are lagging.
