FileWall is being used company-wide. It keeps end users protected from any malicious attachments. We have implemented different policies for our departments as well as for our C-level members. FileWall has great functionality and in same time it is very easy to configure and understand for end users. FileWall provides great manuals and support in case you have some questions.

FileWall is great solution to protect your end-users from malicious attachments. If your company often sending and receiving email attachments (even from trusted customers, sometimes accounts can be compromised), FileWall will safe-guard your environment. Very low price makes FileWall available for SMBs. With pretty straight-forward implementation and configuration process our IT department was able to configure the solution in our system within 1 day without any additional training.

FileWall is used by the entire organization. It takes the complexity out of filtering email and allows you to filter email simply and easily.

FileWall works really well with Office 365 and I recommend it to any company wanting that extra layer of protection when it comes to email filtering.

FileWall the best email attachement safety solution

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use FileWall in order to secure email attachments for emails received by all users in the company. We also recommend FileWall to our customers as an add-on for e-mail security of Exchange Online. We are able to secure attachments for an excellent price without the need to purchase other solutions.

FileWall is well suited for legal departments because they are receiving a lot of attachments daily and it is very difficult to work in complete safety. We have some more experienced users that are not used to paying attention to attachments, and FileWall is very useful in these situations to prevent hacker attacks.

Perfect Email Security for SMB

We are using this application as email attachment security. It is being used by the whole company. It is an add on in Outlook that automatically filters email attachment. It addresses email attachment security. I feel secure knowing Outlook has this particular feature added that automatically filters attachments.

Pros

  • It automatically filters the email if it has an attachment or not.
  • If it has an attachment, it will scan it for a few seconds then it will tell you if the email is secured.
  • It automatically tell ou if the attachment is safe, deleted or can cause harm to your account and your PC.
  • Very user friendly and very admin friendly.

Cons

  • No issues encountered for this product.

FileWall is best suited for SMB that needs email security. It is really cheap for very reliable email security. This application is very user friendly. Even a non-technical admin can be able to configure the policies for this product. It definitely does the job. It will tell you if the email attachment is safe, blocked or deleted.

We are using FileWall in our organization in a pilot phase for testing to test and secure our email attachment, and it is used for a set of users which is part of the information technology and Help Desk team. FileWall prevents known and unknown malware hidden in files attachments from being delivered to user' mailbox.

Pros

  • Easy to implement, it is one click to activate service.
  • FileWall admin console straight forward and user-friendly, Also dashboard gives great insights.
  • Very economical, price of $1 per user/month is more than affordable with discount for annual subscription.

Cons

  • I'd like to see some improvement with assigning policy per group and have it cover SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.

FileWall is one of the fantastic tools that provides malware prevention against both zero-day known/unknown malware attacks for incoming through internal and external emails, I've recommended this product to everyone who is looking for a simple and robust solution for Email security especially for SMB customers who have not purchased Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection.

FileWall is a must-have security add-on for all EOP users

I was looking for an extra layer of security in front of EOP. I have experienced that EOP is not enough and does not block all infected files. It was easy to deploy in few clicks and was surprised that the it captured lots of infected attachments and SPAM emails which EOP did not capture.

  • Easy to deploy.
  • FileWall is a must-have security add-on for all EOP users.
  • Gives more options and features than Office 365 ATP.
  • Cost-effective solution for SMB customers.

Cons

  • It's only available on the Microsoft Marketplace. Would like to see it available through other channels.

Likelihood to Recommend

FileWall is a necessary security layer along with basic EOP. I configured FileWall and it was very easy to deploy and manage. I was surprised that it captured lots of infected attachments and SPAM emails which EOP did not capture. It is highly recommended for SMB customers who want to deploy and manage easily and cost effectively.

Filewall is File Firewall...

Filewall is being used by the whole organization. It solves one of the business critical issues of incoming and outgoing attachments. We have implemented a very aggressive and granular level of attachment scanning to protect our infrastructure from malicious and newborn viruses and to protect our users. FileWall does a great job in this area with rich features and competitive pricing.

Pros

  • Easy to deploy, no need of reading lengthy manuals.
  • User-friendly GUI. Anyone can easily configure settings.
  • Price is very economical.
  • Good support from Odix.

Cons

  • I don't see anything as of yet.

I've recommended FileWall to my clients because this product is very simple to use from the perspective of administrators. <span style="font-size: 15px;">There is also no need to educate clients about using this product because it is working in the background and clients are noted only if something is not right. </span><span style="font-size: 15px;">Every small business organization that has a problem with email security can afford this product because they will solve many of their problems like email health/safety, reducing the number of spam emails, protect your local computers and networks from malware, etc.</span>

  • Currently, there is no similar product on the market.
  • FileWall adds a new layer of security and improves the health of every email system.

Likelihood to Recommend

FileWall is recommended for small companies that cannot afford expensive licensees for email security and health. Administrators will not have a problem configuring rules or finding courses for education, because the GUI interface is very intuitive and every document type is separate from other. In that way, administrators can configure different types of inspection for every document type. Also, administrators can divide clients in groups and assign rules to the groups.
