Freight Tiger started building a software enabled freight network in 2017, to simplify and improve the lives of stakeholders in the supply chain. Their mission is to transform B2B commerce with a software enabled road freight network that creates value for all key industry participants. While currently based in India, Freight Tiger states they intend to launch operations in Southeast Asia and MENA over the next 24 months. Freight Tiger is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Shriram Transport Finance Corporation, and Moonstone Investments.

The Freight TIger platform provides visibility into every road freight transaction to enhance customer experience and build efficiency. The TMS is built to digitise every step of the logistics management process right from vehicle sourcing to freight payments. 3% of India’s FTL market now operates on the Fright TIger TMS platform. Their digital freight network includes 60+ enterprise shippers, 4000+ transport companies/logistics service providers in the country. It enables shippers to work with their contracted transport companies and access elastic capacity for their spot transactions through the 4K+ Transport companies onthe platform.

The Indian logistics industry is highly fragmented with multiple stakeholders and runs almost entirely on offline processes. This leads to a waste of resources, idle time of trucks, no live tracking/visibility and unpredictable ETAs resulting in a significant increase in logistics costs. Freight Timger states that collaboration, integration and transparency is the only way forward for the Indian logistics industry, and that their products are built to enable this. They further state that they help customers improve OTIF by 15-20% and bring down logistics costs by 10-12%.

• Financing: Considering long payment cycles for every transaction in India, Freight Tiger partners with reputed banks to give customers access to secure and safe working capital financing.

• Simplified logistics: With 20+ built-in integrations with ERP, telecom, TMS, CRM and GPS providers, the solution aims to make it easier for customers to get on to the platform without causing any disruptions to their system processes.
